The New York Harbor Channel has organized efforts to secure time-sensitive ferry service from the 69th Street Pier in Bay Ridge Brooklyn to the Saint George district of Staten Island for Fleet Week and the NYC Marathon. The two annual events would benefit participants and spectators who live in Brooklyn and Staten Island seeking a direct route to and from the boroughs. The online petition is the first step in securing NYC’s approval to make this additional route a reality for 2019.
